Advent Bible Study: “The Baptist’s Cry”

Introduction

In Advent, we wait, watch, and prepare for our Lord’s coming. We anticipate his birth, we look for him to come into our lives, and we await his return in power. During this season, Jesus’s cousin, John the Baptist, turns our attention to the prophecies that a Messiah would come to save the people of God. He points to Jesus and invites us to wait and to watch and to prepare.

This Advent, you are invited to join a Bible Study. We will meet each Tuesday in Advent. We will pray for God to inspire our study, listen to his Word in the Gospels, explore his message in the passages, and seek his will for our lives. All ages are welcome; childcare and transportation are available if needed.
